Since the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War has been proclaimed on March 14, IWPG branch offices started launching the HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee worldwide, forming a foundation for the promoting of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War.

Amongst the branches that newly joined the Committee, seven IWPG branches and affiliates in China held the launching ceremony of the HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee in respective regions of Dailian on March 30, Hong Kong on April 9, Nanjing on April 14, Changchun on April 15, Harbin on April 15, Jilin on April 15, and Hegang on April 20.

The launching ceremony featured video clips of HWPL and IWPG-led peace work before presentations on the necessity of an International Law for the Cessation of War and Achievement of World Peace, an introduction of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War followed by a discussion session on future plans and prospects of the HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee.

But now I have the certainty that peace is very close to our lives,
and I am determined to build peace alongside IWPG."

- Wei Han, Committee Member, Dailian -

"A mother knows what each family member goes through. Mothers are often the ones that bridge differences, and mothers can be the bridge of peace. So, we must be

 of future Nanjing citizens."

The Power of Your Peace Sign Your Support

Is the Power of Your Peace Sign your Support?
It is really, really, really great!!

Sign your Support for Peace,
Let your voice be heard

Your Pledge actions will usher world peace in our generation.
Your Pledge brings out a new era of peace.

Leaders, decision-makers, and heads of state, however, are the ones who must fully acknowledge the value of the Declaration and practice the principles
of the document to reduce and eventually stop armed conflicts.

The Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War motivates many to start to hope again for a world where tragedies caused by war have ceased and to add their voice to help make the world a peace filled place.

Leaders, decision-makers, and heads of state, however, are the ones who must fully acknowledge the value of the Declaration and practice the principles of the document to reduce and eventually stop armed conflicts.

Pledges in support of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War will add legitimacy to the document and greater weight in urging our leaders and heads of state to view and support what the citizens view and support, letting our demand for peace be heard. Also, each pledge will strengthen the voices that the Declaration represents and demonstrates our sincere efforts and wishes to bring forth peace transcending borders, nationalities and cultures.

Just as water drops merge to become a huge thunderstorm that covers an entire area, each and every pledge will become a thunderstorm that wipes away world tainted with the atrocities of war and brings out a new era of peace, Your worlds and actions will usher peace in our generation.
