Seoul, South Korea, International Youth Walk for Peace in the world


An unprecedented event took place in the afternoon of Saturday, May 25, 2013 in the vicinity of Seoul Olympic Park in South Korea. Because, more than 27,000 young people from 50 countries from all corners of the world that the global market for desired peace finally becomes a reality. At the end of this peaceful march, a statement was read calling young people, heads of state and media to work for peace in the world.

The International Youth march brought together leaders and representatives of over 100 organizations in more than 50 countries that responded to the appointment of International Youth Organization World Peace (International Youth Organization of World Peace). Among the 27,000 walkers, there are about 5,000 foreigners of different nationalities living in Korea. Thus, many young leaders from Portugal, Greece, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Belarus and Colombia, etc., have traveled the streets of the Korean capital in favor of peace through world. Three big one-way roads around the Seoul Olympic Park were requisitioned for this event.

On this occasion, a joint declaration signed by Mr. Du Hyun Kim, Director of the International Youth Organization of World Peace, was read by Mr. Man Hee Lee, president of the Restoration of world peace and the sky Culture (Restoration of World Peace and Culture of Heaven), also a signatory. In this declaration, the participants clearly indicated the precious and divine nature of life and expressed their commitment to work towards the cessation of war and the advent of peace in the world.

Finally, a call was made to the youth of the world to work for the advent of peace everywhere on earth, Heads of State for the signing of an international agreement to end all wars and media to accompany this global will for peace on all continents.




Since Religious leader Man Hee Lee of HWPL announced the Declaration of World Peace on May 25th , 2013 when 30,000 international members of IPYG led the Peace Walk in front of the World Peace Gate in Seoul, South Korea, many cities around the world have designated May 25th 
as the annual HWPL Day.
