HWPL Youth Choir - Beautiful Country
(Original by Moony Shin)
On the Declaration of Peace

When the long glowing sun sets foot on that mountain
the moon gently comes step by step

How beautiful it is, even in the moonlight
The stone walls in each alley greet the moonlight

When the winter snow sits gently
The soft and comfortable white color lulls the strong wind

Born in the land of so many beautiful dreams,
am I not a happy person?

Living in the land of wide oceans and a blue sky,
am I not a happy person?

<The sound of the river, mountains, and leaves>

Am I not delighted that everything around us is so beautiful?
The sound of the wind-flower and wild herbs getting wet

Is my heart not delighted for even
how beautiful the pains of youth are?

Born in the land of so many beautiful dreams,
am I not a happy person?

Living in the land of wide oceans and a blue sky,
am I not a happy person?

The roots of a tree that endured the harsh winter
it is green because of its longing for spring

Green and greener
Grow numerous leaves and
Spread your branches to reach the top of the sky

Born in the land of so many beautiful dreams,
am I not a happy person?

Living in the land of wide oceans and a blue sky,
am I not a happy person?

Beautiful Country
