1. The IWPG Peace Committee
The IWPG Peace Committee is a peace force within the IWPG organization. It is a grassroots group that carries out peace works in respective local communities with motherly hearts as the driving force.
2. Qualifications
Any female member motivated to work for peace and take part in peace works can join the IWPG Peace Committee.
NOTE: You must be over 18 and a registered member of the IWPG.
3. What the Committee Does
The Committee autonomously plans and runs various forms of peace campaigns in respective regions in accordance with the founding vision and directive of the IWPG.
4. Committee Members are
• invited to become a member of a global network of women
• issued an official Letter of Appointment
• given registration priority to IWPG events
5. How to Apply
• Apply Online
Submit your application via the IWPG website (internationalwomenspeacegroup.org) ► Evaluation of application ► Notification of nomination as a committee member ► ‘Certificate of Appointment’ issued
• Apply Offline
Go to the IWPG website (follow the link) ► Download and print the application form (PDF) ► Fill in the application form ► Scan or take a photo of the completed form ► Submit application via email with the image file attached (Recipient: IWPG regional branch office) ► Evaluation of application ► Notification of nomination as a committee member ► ‘Certificate of Appointment’ issued
6. Time Frame
Application Deadline: Monday, June 27, 2016
Announcement of Appointment: Friday, July 1, 2016
