"The proclaimed Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War will be sent out to be signed by presidents and political leaders. It falls on the youth and women to make this peace work known and to urge [citizens and the leaders] to sign [in support of] the Declaration."

- Chairman of HWPL, Man Hee Lee

"[We] discussed how we will work as peace advocates and make the implementation of the International Law on the Cessation of War and Achievement of World Peace a reality. This is the kind of work that takes sacrifice. Our devotion will lay the foundation for a world of peace which will become a lasting legacy for future generations."

Approximately 30 people representing NGOs affiliated with IWPG (the International Women's Peace Group) and IPYG (the International Peace Youth Group) launched the HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee for the Implementation of the International Law on the Cessation of War and Achievement of World Peace (hereinafter the Advocacy Committee) and discussed future activity plans to support the Declaration proclaimed and the implementation of an international law for peace.

The Advocacy Committee consists of women, youths and leaders of society who work in light of establishing peace across the globe by supporting and urging for the implementation of the International Law on the Cessation of War and Achievement of World Peace (hereinafter the International Law) to build a legacy of peace for future generations.
